I had no problem with her songs or voice..she was on some Linda McCartney tribute and she sang the fuck outta some song I cant think of right now..and her Put Your Hands On Me is the shit..she has a beautiful voice regardless.

I've always liked her, ever since the release of "Troy".

My fav albums are "IDNWWIHG" and "Universal Mother".

I agree that her lyrics are usually pretty damn good and
I like the fact that she adresses more in her music than
just the "i feel miserable/i'm in love" repertoire of a
lot of artists.

when the album was released I was really impressed by the
things she said on "black boys on mopeds". that was fcking
cool. she got a lot of shit for saying it but at least she
had the balls to do so.

there are too many of her songs that I love with a passion
to list them all. However, quite ironically, my very fav
song of hers is one of the few that she did not write:

"You made me the thief of your heart" which was written,
I think, by Bono and Gavin Friday.

I was at Tower the other day, and I saw two different vinyl copies of remix albums called Troy (Phoenix From The Flame). Are these worth getting?

Btw, interesting Prince connection on these albums: They say they are by The Artist Professionally Known As Sinead O'Connor and both are dedicated to Steve Fargnoli.
