how the fuck do some of you honestly include J.lo in your TOP ten or twenty female artists of ALL TIME?

im sorry ... let me rephrase ... i don't mean to be rude, truly, i just want an insight into the thought process that makes one a fan of jennifer lopez, like, an all time fave when other artists like lauryn hill, shirley manson, annie lennox, hell even ones i don't like like Alicia Keys or India Aire - how you can put her amongst your top 20. i assume you've listened to everything 'pop' and or 'r&B' that female voices have had to offer from the early to mid 80s through the 90s and up to now...Teena Marie, Grace Jones, Sade, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Gloria Estefan through Kesha, Gaga, Britney, Rihanna and so on. And Jennifer Lopez is honestly one your all time favorites? i'm just curious...no judgment...didn't mean any offense...how is this for you? Enlighten me? i used to her her first 2 albums back in the day but they went the way of Ace of Base, pretty much, cept for the odd mix cd inclusion of one of her more 'hip hop' tracks like 'Aint it Funny' or 'Gonna Be Alrite..."

I didn't like her for years and was annoyed with her, but now I just find her fun and mindless cause I'm tired of being serious all the time. I like music old and new. Not to bring my personal life into it, but I've been so down for a long time...I know she's not the greatest, she's just fun, that's why I included her.

I thought about putting teena or grace (by the way, I HATE Ke$ha) but don't know enough songs to include them though I really do enjoy what I know.

And thought of the other r&b artists I posted after and not right away, cause it's too far back for me now and I don't listen to them everyday though when I do, of course J LO will NEVER be in their league. And she is, after all, a dance-pop artist like Madonna or janet though not on their level.

Yeah I'm trying not to, but too much older music though I enjoy it so much makes me so sad and cry now, cause I listened to it alongside MJ and it's just too much, that I've kind of trained myself to listen to fun and unserious stuff just to suck it all up kind of sad I know, but that's how it is for now

if you like really happy music listen to five stars first 4-5 cds non stop dance songs..

i got addicted to five star. I listened to ALL THEIR SONGS, Liked every song no matter how cheesy it was. they always make me happy.
