I love Adele although the song is starting to get a bit overplayed now by Top 40 stations (which I loathe but sometimes try to listen to during my long commute). It's not just cool that Adele has a number one, but the fact that it is a slow burner is even better.

As I have my radio turned off (I only play CDs on my stereo), that song will NEVER get boring to me. LOVE it. As I do the entire album. smile But I'm glad it's getting airplay though.

I just peeped her debut album (yeah I know, I should've got it when it came out, and her ex wants royalties from "19", which is stupid, but anyway...) and it's REAL good. Man if she keeps this up, she'll have longevity. nod I'm sure of it. biggrin

well see about that... "longevity" has been the "Achilles' Heel" of 00's artists... confused

my god, where's Amy now??? for example...

Lock for the Grammys, song and record of the year, and album of the year

I'd say the record of the year nod should go to 'Someone Like You (Live).'

I see an album nod also.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Now, if the Black Keys could top the charts I would be in feathers.

Yes!

Love their 'Brothers' album!!!!!

The year's most underrated disc. Should get an album nod.

I like their album better than Adele's.

I'd rather two albums in 10 years over the - pile it high crowd - Beyonce, CA, Shity Spears etc....
