It does. Tevin sounded like a 13-year-old Michael on many of those songs he did back in the day. This is one of them!

Yep. People actually thought he was gonna be a serious threat to Michael...and he could've been had issues not got in the way.

I love this interview. Tevin had such an old soul at a relatively young age, just as Michael had at that age. biggrin

Yes I watched this before I think Tevin could have been big like Usher.

I wish Tevin would've blown up more. Dude just had an incredible voice. I gotta some more of his music in my collection. The only album I have by him as a solo artist is I'm Ready and that is on cassette! boxed I played the hell outta that tape back in '93 on my old Walkman and around the house.

I loved everything Campbell ever put to tape. It's a shame the career couldn't have taken the next step; even so, I wish him joy and peace of mind.

It's a shame that his career went to nowhere. I think he's a way talanted than Usher and these others R&B singers.

I don't think so. He couldn't dance as well as he sings lol .

So MJ had him beat.

Yeah I don't think he could ever be a serious threat to Mike, but on his own, Tevin would've definitely blew other successors out of the water because there was one thing Tevin had: A VOICE! The kid was exposed to so many things by the age of 14, during the success of his career-defining albums T.E.V.I.N and I'm Ready (drugs, family issues, bad management, law problems, etc.) What a tragedy because this kid was destined to be a worldwide name.
