I actually felt that mans energy...literally. That is his talent. That sexual energy is a monster.

It's a little too karaoke for me! The live band is right there behind you, use them Kells! I was looking forward to clips form this tour because I was thinking that he was finally ditching his lame, hip hop persona.......oh well, maybe when he hits his 60's!biggrin

I hope this is just for the Europe leg of the tour because he did a similar setlist on his last tour. Also why doesn't he hire a full LIVE band and actually utilize them? This is my only complaint regarding his performances. He's too big of performer and singer to have a band like that.

Or his 'Imma Chump' swing!!! I do not understand the pull of this man. I will stop now, and apologize to the hard core Kellys.

He's a complex character Kell's but you cant deny he's a fucking genius and after almost 25 years in the game his last album proved that he's still got it.

I enjoy some of his work.....you could even say a lot. I just have to emphasize that I like his R&B music, not the R&B thug. He lost me after Chocolate Factory and Happy People. If I could put a bug in his ear, here's the set he'd do:

Fiesta/Home Alone/You Remind Me of Something (Medley)

Bump n Grind

Down Low

Ignition (Parts 1 and 2)

Step in the Name of Love

Red Carpet

Ladies' Night

Happy People

If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time

I Believe I Can Fly

--------------

(First encore)

Be Careful/A Woman's Threat

When A Woman Loves

You Are Not Alone

---------------

(Final Encore)

I Wish

Spirit

Seeing as how this is what I'd be looking for, do you see why I'm not happy with Kells?

@th13182, I love your list. I would like to add 2 slow jams, 1 hip-hop (yes, hip-hop) and a “reggae-ish” song

1. Strip For You

2. Imagine That

3. We Ride (featuring Jay-Z, Cam’ron and a few other rappers) - I know there's no way he and Jay would work together again biggrin

4. Wind For Me

He performed 'When A Woman Loves' on Canal+ in Paris, France today.

http://www.canalplus.fr/c...vid=459622

Time to let this song go. lol He should perform other songs on the album like 'Love Letter' or 'Radio Message' since it's the 2nd single.

I hope its ok to post this in this thread. I was just watching this awards show performace where I think he did a pretty nice medley. I don't care for him these days, but I can't deny that I really dug him in the 90s, particulalry when he was with public announcement and the first few solo albums (I'm partial to the one with I can't sleep baby).

Wow, the Jools Holland Later show has turned into the X Factor what with some prick on the floor putting up signs for people to clap.

I'm not even bothered about him fucking young girls or pissing on them (although that is reprehensible), the fact is that he's shit and has an awful tense vibrato to his voice.

Prince's vibrato is slower than that. I can't stand R Kelly's voice. Appreciating other people's opinions might make your life a bit more bearable than it is.

Prince's vibrato is weak and nowhere near R. Kelly's.

I don't appreciate people with biased opinions such as yourself and I guess the last sentence is a note to yourself, eh?

Not angry, just bemused by people rating this man like the second coming of Donny Hathaway. Pathetic. He's so tacky.
