Is this Lady Gaga's idea of getting philosophical because that's what it looks like, her potential to combine the spiritual with the musical is a fail in my humble opinion.Thuggish bikers, a stylish Jesus, gaudy fingernails, a gold gun that shoots lipstick, and her as Mary Magdalene performing simplistic dance moves in sync with backup dancers is not art in any form, this video is tasteless and less eventful than her previous, its like I am left still waiting on the epic video comeback that was meant to but still hasn't seen the day of light for me as a Gaga fan (especially of her previous work). For the record this is the first time ive heard the song, yes i know it is kind of weird but i wasn't a bit excited after Born this way and a few snippets had leaked, let me just say From the very beginning of the song when i heard her repeats “Judah Judaaah Judah Judaaah,” i couldnt help but think it sounds exactly like Bad Romance which was a complete turn off for me. The song is kinda "everywhere", clunky, the hook and the bridge mismatched even though the song as a whole is a little catchy. It really doesn’t do much to prove that she has any new tricks up her sleeve to amaze the world and the music industry like anticipated with Born This Way. it just feels like an artist retreading past material, shame really coming from someone of very few of our generation who is always being praised for being creative and original, both her singles so far rely too heavily on past ideas. I hope the album is somewhat different but i doubt it. The creative director of the video was Laurie Ann Gibson if anyone's heard of her, from my point of view that says alot. Lady Gaga isn't Puff Daddy.
