Just saw her performance on Oprah and this girl blew me away completely. I always knew she could sing but man I was impressed. I loved the shoe piano too.....She kind of reminded me of a mix of Elton John and Prince. She can blow for real.....anyone who refuses to acknowledge this...well..

I'll be honest. It's an interesting take on a biblical story. But if this supposedly cost 10 million to make...the buck don't go as far as I thought it would. The dance is good...and "Jesus" is foine! Forget Judas...she can have him. Oh, my blasphemin' soul...

Honestly tho...she has yet to even make it into the "legends" circle in my book. This song isn't as stellar as I thought it would be...and frankly, she has yet to create a song I would deem truly iconic. So no...

Great singer and dancer though....and her live performances with the piano are impressive.

I seriously doubt the video cost $10 million. I don't know whoever made it up but a video that looked like this, it probably was on a $600,000 budget at the least. She probably spent more on that making "Born This Way" and that was more out of sync than this video was. To be honest, it did go with a THEME at least. It's just that at some parts - like her drowning in water (I think) and the scenes of her washing "Jesus'" feet, and the part where "Judas" is pouring wine on her butt - made the video look disjointed plus guess they didn't wanna focus on the choreography (or Judas for that matter) it was mostly Gaga close-ups. She was looking real good for a change, got rid of those stupid horns on her face.

It was a decent, okay video. Definitely not a controversial video and it wasn't as much of a "cultural baptism" as she made it out to be but it was still decent. I still don't like the song but I get what the song was about anyway. It's about a woman who has a good man by her side but is attracted to the bad guy she met and she cheats on the good man to be with him so she's the betrayer in the relationship.

And as SEANMAN pointed out, she definitely took cues from Janet visual wise with the video.

I agree that getting rid of the horns and the weird front teeth was a good thing. And kudos on that last line lol!

I've been listening to the single for a couple of weeks now, and at first I didn't really like it all that much. I thought it was 'ok', but now I love it. It really grew on me. There's no doubt in my mind that Lady Gaga will have amassed so many die-hard fans that she'll be able to outlast many of her peers and even a few of those who came before her. She's something special. I love the hatred that's thrown at her--it's similar to the stuff I read about Madonna back in the day. But gaga is a far better singer than Madonna--all she needs to do is work on performance and amassing material that's iconic--that, I'm sure, is going to happen.
