Kraftwork..... Who in here enjoys Kraftwork music as much as I do? I think it's safe to say that they're the orginators of tech music before it was tech music. Here you had a couple of white dudes from germany, who dared to experiment with music, like they where Dr.Frankistien in a hollywood moive. They where inovators of music which led down to inspires greats such as Afikka Bambatata. My favorite tracks 2 listen are Numbers, which is a funky jam :afro: and Computer Love and no I'm not talking about Roger Zapp . I recomend Kraftwork music 2 anybody who's into breakdancing, the future and electronic music...

Yes Digital Lisa!
Kraftwerk were amazing, pioneers of electronic music! "Trans Europe Express" had the first ever promotional video too! Other great tracks are: "Neon Lights" "Autobahn" "Showroom Dummies" Who remembers "Pocket Calculator"? Weird and mad! In the UK they had a massive no 1 with "The Model" and "Computer Love" as the double "A" side. Yes "Numbers" is great. As you say they were total innovators, if synths hadn't been invented then they would have created them! They were working on robots to stand in for them and play on stage for them too. They also have the interesting acolade of being one of the most difficult artists to collect! I am not a Kraftwerk collector, but the sheer quantity of the various versions of each release is supposed to be mind boggling! Must dig some Kraftwerk out and have a listen! Wonder what they are doing now? There must be some of our German friens who remember them even better???

Krafterwork= a djs best friend. those cats helped me threw a lot of tuff mixes. A Kraftwork beat could link two songs togther that had shit for a break. The remix of Telephone and Musiq non stop were the best for this. Tour de France was my fav song by them. Throw Tour De France over the break in Jesse Johnson's "Be Your Man" and you will trip lol Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
