Jimi Hendrix & Stevie Wonder You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I wish somebody had been there to film it , or at least take pictures!
1967, and apparently Stevie , who was about 17 at the time, was waiting to do an interview at the BBC, and Hendrix, who was supposed to record at the BBC, happened to walk in , so Stevie picked up the drumsticks, and they just started jammin' to kill time.....

I wonder if someone took pictures during the "Toot and Snore In 74" session. But knowing the condition of a couple of the participants, maybe it isn't a good idea to release them if they exist. It's sad we haven't seen footage of these two together. That would've been real mind blowing.

The only pictures I saw of the "Toot and Snore in '74" period were of Lennon & McCartney (wearing a mustache) together. I don't think I saw Stevie's pictures from that era yet.

May Pang would've taken photos, or your namesake. She's on Twitter. If anyone has that answer, she does.

I didn't know that Micky was there at the recording, although I knew he hung out with John during that time. I remember Pam Grier said she hung out with John too.
