I don't know which is my favorite Rick James slow jam. "Hollywood" or "Spacey Love".

Andy is a four letter word.

Spacey Love or Happy for me.

Hollywood was THE DRAMA. "Good by Moma, Good by Poppa...woo woo woo woo woo wu wu." I wonder if the (oringinal) Stone City Band plays this in their current shows.

I remember posting about this particular song a while ago and I even uploaded it once at the original pitch but it was blocked so I lowered it a bit.

Are you saying that if a song is uploaded to YouTube in it's correct pitch, something detects/recognizes it and blocks/deletes it from the site? And by lowering the pitch, it goes undetected?

This is one of my favorite, if not absolute favorite, Rick James slow jams. But it doesn't sound right to me at this pitch/speed.

Yeah. Lowering or upping the pitch. It gets through as a third party content and it stays up as long as it can unless someone decides to have it deleted. But so far all the videos I've uploaded recently because of this have stayed up. Some other YouTubers have done this practice.

I decided enough was enough when I tried uploading Stevie's "These Three Words" in its original pitch and it was "blocked"! I was like "fuck it lemme upload that software TD3 told me about". Lo and behold, toned it down by a pitch, uploaded, and it went through with no blockage. lol

That explains why then every time I search for a favorite song on YouTube, the best version I can find always sounds too slow or too fast, or is otherwise just poor quality, or is a live version of the song recorded off the TV. Nevertheless, I like how you designed the graphics & intro for the "Hollywood" clip. Nice tribute.

neutral

I wasn't too pleased with my upload. I still don't trust the upload in its original pitch so it's slightly higher.
