Seems there's some debate around the 'net over whether this is a fake track.

Regardless if this track is Bjork's or not, it is an awesome track.

Music is like food.

Some people have a sweet tooth and go for pop

Some like soul food.

Some like it hot and spicy.

Some like meat and potatoes and go for Bruce Springsteen

Some are connoisseurs, and like classical and such.

Some can like it all, and can go from Prince to Phillip Glass on their ipod.

And some people are finicky eaters.... And if that's you, Bjork is probably not for you.

I like this. But I'm wondering: In this metaphor, what would be the culinary taste of someone who likes Bjork? smile

I'd think they'd be the type to eat weird raw sea foods. lol

Could be.

I have never been into seafood becasue the smell always turned me off. So yes it could be the same thing.

This woman is 2 deep 4 the average listener of music.

nothing deep about her

more like too prententious and annoying and sounding like a raving lunatic when she 'sings'

i never saw her appeal at all

google 'i hate Björk' and the org comes up

this dude here worded it perfectly , then lol

http://prince.org/msg/8/110441

I Hate Björk!

Ooh, ooh, ooh,

I'm a fully
Grown up wo-ham-man
But I think that I'm a pixie
All things considered
I dress like a psychiatric pay-ay-tient

And why should I sing
When I can wail and whisper?

If you saw me busking
On the street where you live
Without my electro-wobble-musica
You would call the po-lice

And if you don't like me
People will say 'You just don't understand'
So I spew my pretentious nursery rhymes
And people think it's art

But I'm one annoying cunt
I'm the seamstress of the emperor's new clothes
I am over-hyped bu-hull-shit
I am a snake in a teapot.

clapping

You know what?

I can't really get into most of her work either, other than the obvious stuff like "Human Behavior" and "It's Oh So Quiet" - although, I REALLY, REALLY love the song "Sod Off".

You kind of just nailed the reasons why, too - it's like her work is too far off into another place for me, like she tries too hard to be artsy and non-mainstream and different. Most Bjork fans don't really make things any better for me, with the music snobbery/intellectual superiority angle, that if you can't get into her work, it's because you lack the brain power and the depth to 'get it'.

The fucked up/interesting part about all of this is, that I actually love her voice.

"I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day
