I've always wondered this question.

In his interview, he comes across as being this goody two shoes and all, but do y'all really think that he might be a badass in private?

I dunno, but I just don't buy his sweet innocent image. These artists are groomed in this industry to behave a certain way.

I'll say this much, Justin's girlfriend Selena Gomez is definitely a pawn. And Justin's high moral values will be tested as he gets older.

C'mon, have you seen Selenita? Unless you are implying that he is gay and will someday be coming out, I really don't see how you would be calling her a pawn. Granted, it will probably be ugly as hell when one of them moves on, but she is a beautiful young woman and they seem to be awfully cute and compelling together. I vote - "real."

This is the head of the nail. I think that he and his family are genuine folks. But those moral values are being tested daily. Shoot, he could come out on the other side of this winning like Charlie Sheen.

He's a genuinely sweet kid. He's friends with a friend of mine and has done a lot of things to personally encourage his 6 year old son's interest in music, even signing a pair of his drumsticks for his bday last week. Refreshingly humble kid and he's definitely smashing Selena.

His Dad definitely gets the side eye from me tho.

ummm Are u kidding? Those Radio hosts who're interviewing Justin are MEAN.

They think they're being witty but they just sound so sarcastic and rude to me....They're not having

a conversation with Justin they're just making fun of him geeez....If I was being "interviewed" like that.......

I know a lot of ppl make fun of Justin but I honestly think he's humble and talented...I wish people could just give him a break

I think that a little much is being made of the pawn thing. But I see your point. I believe that Justin, given the context that you have set out, could be her knight in a shining redemption suit. That little kiss they had at the Oscars was age appropriate - when was the last time one of these little pawns was doing something age appropriate? They are fortunate to have found each other, for now.

These interviewers are douchebags and there's nothing wrong with what he said. He didn't say anything different than most celebrities do and would. They were prying.

They're right now planning for Willow Smith and Greyson Chance to get ready. Willow's about to put out her album in a few months and Greyson will be the pop rock/adult contemporary version of him so Beaver better watch out. He's edging in on 18 already.

To sound sooo interested and happy for the millionth time in a day is hard. Celebrity is hard. I hate interviewers/journalists like this. Was he that bad? Seriously?

I'll say this. He's slightly less annoying than Miley Cyrus when she was in her prime with Hannah like 3-4 years ago. I just couldn't stomach that shit at all.

He did seem a little cold & uninterested in the interview. It may have been the 100th interview he did that day he sounded a little tired. But i've also heard that he is very rude to adults behind the scenes.

I also don't really believe his so called romance with Selena. I know there were gay rumors about him not long ago .Especially when a dude walked up to him at an arcade and called him a gay slur. I've notice after that his people been trying to man him up more by creating this romance & the new hair cut.... He seems very humble though. But then his mentor Usher seemed that way to and there have been many horrid stories about him to behind the scenes... I believe most people in the industry has an image that they have to keep up & sometimes they slip he is still relatively new at it & no one can be wholesome all the time. He is very talented & has a good head on his shoulders.

There is a genuine sincerity about him, but I can't help feeling that underneath his childlike demure is a worldly, somewhat angst-ridden soul.

There are depths to him I couldn't understand. That said, I still wouldn't mess with him.

That was a crap interview, but sounds like your typical morning radio guys. They blew it after saying they didn't watch the movie.

This is how an interview should go. He watched the movie, they got along, and didn't get into the gossip stuff.

Also, he's prob. been told by his mom to enjoy it now because it might not last. She could pull a whole list of names out as examples of people who were famous but ran into serious problems when they were older. I'm sure Usher's told him plenty, and it's not like he could go on and work a regular job after this.

If you want to know what celebs are really like, you should look into working in the entertainment field behind the scenes.

Maybe the Rolling Stone article gave some insight. Maybe the movie did.

He appreciated the fans a lot. I know most guys that are his age would love to have girls screaming at them (even though his demographic's 5 to 15), but if it's an everyday thing, it can all too easily be taken for granted. And he has to remember that every time he's promoting, getting on and off his tour bus, making the rounds in different cities, and be as gracious as possible. Because all it takes is that one time, and the media's all over it in minutes.

LOL! The radio guys say he's got attitude. They are the ones with the attitude!

I thought his reaction was very good, if you haven't seen the movie, how are you gonna interview him about it?
