Adele, Duffy, or Amy Winehouse?

1. The best voice?

2. The best music?

Amy. but whatever that song Adle has out is hot. I liked Duffy, but she's a bit of a non-presence.

I love the character behind Amy's voice. She's very expressive.

Adele is kinda boring.

Amys two albums are classics. She takes the cake on all counts.
Great songs she wrote, and then she surrounded herself with very complimentary collaborators and it was gold from there.

Never heard that before. The backing track is pretty hot as is the band!

Maybe her voice will mature and get more pleasant in her twenties. She certainly has vocal skills and control.

Nah I'm being honest. I don't get her appeal. shrug

I applaud who said Cat Power though. I like the music I heard from her.

None of them. I know this style of music is very critically acclaimed, but to me it's boring and just as forumlaic as the dance divas that are popular right now.

Amy - incredible vocals, lyrics and overally delivery

Duffy - LOVE the vibrato, love the whole vibe

Adele - Great voice that can grate at times (maybe more reverb on her voice?), excellent lyrics

I love all 3! Cat Power too smile

Voice - Adele - sometimes Amy mumbles, at least Adele has a clear strong voice.

Music - errr this is tough. I like all Adele's singles (except Chasing pavements) but have neither of her albums. So i choose Amy because "black to black" was pure class.

BUT both are guilty of doing terrible covers of two of my favourite songs. Adele's version of 'love song" is plain boring and Amy should be shot a hundred times for putting a reggae beat to "cupid"mad

The difference, speaking for Amy at least as I'm most familiar with her material, is that when it's gets right down to it, her songs are great songs and they, along with her vocal (if she's not boozed!) come through shining whether it's the produced versions on her albums or just her and an acoustic guitar singing live.
