What Are You Listening To Now...In 2011? Let's start Chico's thread again! What are you listening to now in 2011? I started out with El DeBarge's new album "Second Chance." Now I am listening to Janet's Rhythm Nation--cause Ima go to her concert this year!

What a coincidence, Silverchild! I just got through watching the Unsung Documentary on Donny Hathaway last night...and it was so sad and so moving! I grew up listening to this man's music in the 70s and he put his heart and soul into every song...not to mention that he never hit a wrong note and was a consummate musician. It is just wrong that mental illness got in the way of his music...I never knew that about him. His ex-wife had nothing but good things to say about him...as did his children. I was very moved. I also had the privilege of seeing Lala Hathaway perform at Prince's Izod concert for the first time... I am so glad his legacy continues through his children. For Donny:

Hmm... the album I probably heard most this year so far was Van Halen's (or as some would say, Van Hagar's)
