Ain't no party like a Fonda Rae party 'cause a Fonda Rae party don't stop!
I knew the name, I knew the songs. But it wasn't until this morning that I learned this woman is the voice on so many jams I'd been listening to for years. Where is she now? Is there a Fonda Rae anthology? Me wants more!!!

Good jams I still was planning to get Rainbow Brown's album one day, but Fonda's contribution is indeed a surprise to me ! Unfortunate about the sound-quality of the last-posted video, where you can see her actually perform.

I didn't know she worked with August Darnel. Cool.
The only thing I know from her is "Over Like a Fat Rat" [Edited 3/4/11 8:15am]

I had never heard this one before until a good friend of mine who was originally from Chicago used to play this one every time I was over at his house. It was like an every weekend party/orgy at his house and this one became a gay classic in our own little circle. He moved his ass back to Chicago and things ain't been the same since. Andy is a four letter word.
