Not as good as her previous video imo. Just too bizarre for me. She's getting more niche with everything she does and is starting to turn people off with her shock tactics. She's peaked too soon.

i thought the video itself was pretty tame. the largest portion of it, her dancing in her underwear,

is nothing special or controversial at all. we've seen that before, from her and others.

the intro was kinda freaky and nice. i like that. the 'mythology' she narrates is interesting and a

few of the other shots strewn into the video are good atmospheric mood pieces.

all in all, it balances on a ledge between a mindfuck and a mundane piece of pop ephemera.

if anything, i'd like to see even more weird and incomprehensible stuff.

But I think it's that to me, it felt less contrived when Prince did shocking shit - like that's truly just who he was, and he was just expressing himself. And yeah, he got attention for that shocking shit, but I never felt like he was after that - that he actually kinda wished he didn't get so much attention for who he was and how he was.

I always end up feeling like Gaga is trying her damndest to make everyone look at her, like these are all just publicity stunts and not really who she is.

It's that that keeps me from warming up to her like I want to.

I watched this three times already I think I’m liking it a little too much. This video is humorous to me clearly this was not to be taken seriously just by the ending. I think she peaked with Bad Romance though.

I honestly couldn't watch it again for some reason. It was like "Telephone" and "Alejandro" (I only saw that one twice) and "Video Phone" ( ). Once you seen it once, the fuck you wanna see it again? I haven't. Same with "Not Myself Tonight". Just...

I almost want to say that's where she was going with it: being an alien. Shit some parts of the video reminded me of that Alien Nation movie. It would've been a trip if she had really transformed into one like David Bowie in "The Man Who Fell to Earth".

She did say she love sci fi movies so I’m thinking the concept for the album is influence by that just judging by the video and the posters I saw for the album.

You know what I like about that video? It shows you the distinction between the two art styles greatly.

It was done that way on purpose - to have Video Phone be more Beyonce-ish and Telephone be more Gaga-ish for obvious reasons and I think you can see whose artistic vision is more deft.

Pretty creative video, but I still have not got into the song itself. The messag, yes. The song and it's arrangement, no. That's why there's usually something for everyone.

I am still not sold on Lady Gaga yet i still think she is an act i think the eccentric comes off as being too forced.

If i can name any artist who symbolizes weird that would be Amy Winehouse even without the drugs Amy is just a eccentric person in general.

Gaga looks like someone acting out something for Halloween maybe because the way she was in the spotlight she was forced upon us we did not see change whereas with people like David Bowie, Grace Jones, Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson and even Pink you saw the transformation with their image and their eccentricism was a lot more belivable.

Sooner or later people are going to get tired of the outrageous outfits and her overdoing herself going all out will overblow the mystery and fun with being eccentric.

She needs to have real talent behind her once people get tired of the outrageous acts because she can't use that to push herself forver. She is not in that level enough where people take her for who she is yet.

Gaga is not that great of a dancer she is good but she is no Janet Jackson or Ciara when it comes down to dancing her moves are very basic and simple maybe because she really sings during her live performances but as a dancer she is not really up there with the greats.

Beyonce is a better mover and when she was in Destiny's Child her moves use to be sitff but she has gotten a lot better since then. Besides Single Ladies she has not done much elaborate dancing throuhout her career.

The best dancer in the game right now is Ciara that girl is legit
