I still can't warm up to the song, although I agree with and appreciate the primary message in it.

As far as Gaga herself goes, she looks beautiful in the video and has a GREAT body.

And it's a good video - visually it's an eyegasm, but I'm still waiting to see Gaga just pull it back a little and not be so over the top with everything all the time. There's something about her I like, but her whole image is just too much for me and that's what keeps me at a distance.

I'm always curious to hear why Prince fans have a hard time digesting LG. She reminds me, right now, of Purple Rain era Prince with the decadence, weird shit, concepts no one understands, etc... Except the technology is there to make videos with horns on her face and shoulders and shit.

Isn't she just celebrating common ideas like sex and politics and love, like Prince was, and encasing it in a weird vehicle, like Prince did?

Yes, she is. Sometimes I like Gaga, and sometimes I could really do without. I think she has a great voice though, and I really dig the oddness of some of her videos.

She's unique, and then again, she really isn't. Sometimes I see her as Katy Perry, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, etc... and sometimes I see her as Lady Gaga, the woman who can really throw down something cool on a piano.

eek That video is crazy even coming from Gaga lol

I don't know what to say. I both hate it and love it. What I definitely don't love is the choreography. What crap was that?

Otherwise... I gotta see it again lol

Watched the entire thing.

Its what its supposed to be..as expected.

I know nothing about the business and i have nothing to do with it..

..but when that groundbreaking, spectacular, unimaginable musicvideo comes...

..you'll just know...and so will the rest of the globe. (hate it or love it)

Just like 28 years ago.

Anyone catch the obvious reference to Madonna at the end with the gap toothed look?

Like all the previous GaGa videos, I dig it but I don't love it/want to see it again.

One thing is for sure: this is pure madness, I mean, this is like some crazy Parliament/Funkadelic stuff, some crazy shit about legends and galaxies and what the fuck...

I was too busy focusing on why there were triangles, I get the unicorn thing (I guess confused), and I kinda get why she wore those prosthetics on her arms and face (because she used it for the single cover and this video though I'm quite tired of seeing all of that, she don't really need all of that on her face, I mean, we get it Gaga, you're an alien lol), I did love Rick Genest's part in it. I may have to watch it again. The intro was interesting and...bizarre. Like Star Wars meet Deep Throat or some shit.

Good point. I can get where she was going but, I don't know, it's like the video needed a darker song to compliment the video. That's why I raised some red flags. The visuals were great but the song still didn't quite match with it. It's like on some America Eats Its Young trip now that you mentioned it!!! eek

The Pink triangle is the gay symbol from WW2.

Hmm. What is it about us that loves pink??? lol

"The Manifesto of Mother Monster" lol

It would've been better if, like George, she would've had her voice distorted during the intro. That would've been real interesting. lol

I agree that the eerie/dark intro of the video doesn't match the song/rest of the video

First it was like the Empire Strikes Back or Dune and suddenly it was the Powerpuff Girls or something like that lol lol

lol, I think the pink is more of a slur than anything since the symbol was devised by the Nazis to identify gays in the concentration camps. But go 'head on, Gaga.

I agree on the voiceover and with others sayin' this is very Parliament/Funkadelic. Cool stuff.

YEAH! I was like "what the???" Like I said it was on some Star Wars meets Deep Throat type of shit (the "Deep Throat" coming from the "making" of the Gagas and all that...I guess liquid or whatever the fuck it was). Or maybe I meant to say Star Wars meets the Intro of Child's Play 2. lol

That's why I didn't get the use of the triangle. lol I knew that part though.

Like I said if she had distorted the voice in the beginning, it would've been cool...with a DARKER song. lol

The bizarre thing about the choreographed part of the video wasn't that she barely wore anything, it was because the woman wore some fucking sandals! The hell? lol

I caught it by fast forwarding to the middle and watching the rest. I can't stand the song because it so blatantly rips-off "Express Yourself". Artistically, she's not worthy of carrying Madonna's luggage.

I doubt anyone would've noticed since the points in her head were a distraction from it so I didn't really catch it. Ain't Gaga gap toothed anyway?

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my thoughts about it. It was...interesting to watch, I'll give it that. Koo-koo-krazy, even for her! My favorite visual was the whole skeleton/exaggerated 1980s ponytail set up. She could give Willow/Beyonce a run for their money with that ponytail whipping back and forth. lol Maybe I'll dress like that for Halloween...

I sure did catch the Madonna reference! As soon as I saw that, I was like "It's MADGE!!"

Timmy, Gaga has "straight" teeth. They painted in the gap with black paint. Props to her for that, though. I have a little gap, too! Celebrate it, baby!!!!

I wonder if she does the simple dance moves so that everybody can bust 'em out in the club. LOL, I can still do the Bad Romance dance moves.

I like the colours and the overall aesthetic of the video a lot, but I get the feeling that it doesn't match the music too well. It might be also a bit too artsy for that part of her audience that her huge record sales rely on. "Pokerface" or "Bad Romance" it certainly isn't in that regard. On the other hand, it's somewhat reminiscent of the "Alejandro"(sic?) video and that got played quite a lot too.
