Katy Perry, Fireworks. I never heard this song because I thought it had to be crap because of Perry doing kiddy music, but I check out her video, thanks to Glee and it is really good. Good music, good lyrics.

It's hilarious how, even autotuned, she sounds disastrous on the chorus. She picked a song that she simply does NOT have the ability for. All her live performances of this are a complete mess. | |

Her vocals in that song is atrocious.
Even my Mom thought that her voice sounds so forced and strangled in the chorus whenever that song comes up on the radio.

Totally agree. Katy is not a good vocalist. Her performance of "Fireworks" at the American Music Awards last year was just awful. The song would have been much better suited for someone who had the voice to actually pull it off. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

I just don't understand why they didn't do the song in a different key or something. It sounds painful for her to sing the chorus live. She was holding her throat and everything the last time I saw her do it. I think "Teenage Dream" is her best song this time out.....at least so far.
