Wendy Williams scores exclusive Aretha sit down interview Seems Wendy Williams has scored the first on air interview with Aretha Franklin since her successful 'procedure' of December 2, 2010 that according to the veteran singer, "Added 15 - 20 years" to her life. (The leading thoughts in the watercooler talks are leaning towards some sort of beriatric surgery). Franklin according to sources will be forthcoming about her illness and surgery to Williams. The airdate is slated for March 2nd. Franklin ir readying her album which is set to include collabs from R. Kelly, Faith Hill, Karen Clark Sherad, BeBe Winans and more. The album which has been spoken of for several years icalled ARETHA: A WOMAN FALLING OUT OF LOVE, and will be sold at Wal-Mart (release date: May 2nd). Franklin hits the concert circuit in May with apperances at Radio City Music Hall for 2 night, Buffalo, NY and in June a star-studded 3 night in-residence at the Fox Theatre in Detroit (3rd thru 5th). Dates in Chicago, Washington DC, Kansas City and Virginia are being re-scheduled as well.

Judging by the album title, is Karen going to sing something secular? You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
