I've always figure that Billy's now ex-wife Tish was too much of a pimp than a manager toward her then-husband and to their daughter Miley. And now here's Billy giving some clues to everything that has going wrong behind the scenes for the last 6 years.

There has always been a battle between good and evil. Always will be. You think, 'This is a chance to make family entertainment, bring families together ... ' and look what it's turned into."

Cyrus' personal life is in shambles: He filed for divorce from wife Tish last October amid reports she had an affair with Bret Michaels, of all people. He fears for the future of his megastar daughter, Miley, as she grows up and makes mistakes in the public eye.

"I'm scared for her," he says. "She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I know she's 18, but I still feel like as her daddy I'd like to try to help. At least get her out of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm. Stop the insanity just for a minute."

Cyrus regrets that he treated Miley like a friend and not a parent; when she recently celebrated her 18th birthday at a nightclub in L.A., he put his foot down and refused to attend.

"It was wrong," he complains. "It was for 21 years old and up. ... I said, 'This whole thing's falling apart up there and they just want to blame all this stuff on you again.' I'm staying out of it."

Fired up, Cyrus rambles on about such casualties of fame as Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith and Kurt Cobain, drawing a somewhat bizarre analogy between the late Nirvana frontman (who committed suicide) and his "Party In the U.S.A." daughter (who seems legitimately confident and self-loving).

i actually did not know... i have never heard this hanna montana's music. or miley cirus or whoever she is. all i know is that my niece likes/liked? her. and the only billy ray cyrus song i've ever heard was that achy breaky one.

I think people are being a little too harsh as far as the photo is concerned. The fact that

Miley is revealing a little skin may raise an eyebrow but come on who hasn't seen daughters

even Miley's age sit on their father's lap or lay in daddy's lap. It's just the daddy's little girl thing.

It ain't the skin I'm having a problem with. It just don't seem like a father and daughter portrait to me.

I think Miley's mom was the real driving force of her career. I think ole Billy Ray is just dealing with the GUILT of not speaking up sooner. He seems like he was just way too passive when it came to the major decisions concerning Miley. Mom's was running thangs. Trust me.

I think we can come to the conclusion that that was in fact the case with this family. I also think that the mother was behind Miley getting with Justin Gaston. I never believed they had a relationship despite what they said. It was creepy enough that Justin agreed to go along with the headlines then.

That is a kind of picture pose that I'm used to seeing a couple do. If we're talking about husband & wife, then it's beautiful. But father & daughter?!? Hell no, that isn't right.

Of course! Like I said before, Tish was the personal manager to her daughter Miley & her then-husband Billy Ray. And the moment Tish was given too much resposibilities to make business decisions for the entire immediate family, she became more of a pimp than a concerned mother & wife.

That's right I said it! Tish was pimping Billy Ray & Miley. Even today, Tish is still in control of Miley's entertainment career.

I think you missed understood him. Billy Ray was definitely getting his own paychecks. He just wasn't getting money off of Miley's paychecks like other people were.

He knew what was going on at the time. He just couldn't say anything. But now he knows he's azz out, so he can say whatever he wants. Same thing happened to him that happened to Micheal and The Jackson Family, Britney Spears and her family. Just about every talented person and the people that truly love them get seperated like that by the Hollywood machine.

He was still riding on her coattails, like he was at a rodeo. That still means he was getting money off of Miley's success. Until Miley started having her own success, most people had forgotten what the fuck a Billy Ray Cyrus was and I'm pretty sure it would still be that way, had it not been for her success. Yuck! I couldn't imagine myself posing with my daughter like that. He should've been more responsible and objected to the photographer's directions during the shoot.
