Yeah...was there even an In Memoriam section during the ceremony? She just passed only two months and no mention? Not surprising though. sad

Janelle Monae was amazing!!! Stage diving at the grammys? I LOVE IT!! I love when she does that gritty voice for "Cold War" Fits the song better.... at the end when she singing "don't you cry when i say goodbye" I love it... Simple genius.

And She down BLEW up on Twitter... Going from only being known by big music fans to number 2 twitter topic in the world. Was just the top twitter topic in Los Angeles!

I think it was Janelle's night. I think she'll see the biggest spike in sales from tonight!

She's got Prince calling her his favorite artist. Stevie Wonder memorizing all her songs! and Beyonce is currently back stage telling everyone she's going to a party with Janelle Monae. I think you can say she became a big star tonight! biggrin

Speaking of sales, The ArchAndroid has made it back on Amazon.com's top 100 music at #66! Proud...she really would've been blowing up if she performed on her own and did a mini-medley. Glad her and Esperanza are getting lots of exposure now.

Wonderful job of photoshopping and the make-up is too cool.

However she spins, denies and explains the weight loss is alright with me as slong as she is healthy and stays around a little longer. The picture is beautiful.

I don't know why Eminem's album has gotten so much praise. The song with Rihanna got it to the level it is at, I guess.

'Cause it's fantastic, as a whole, and it should have won Album of The Year. Although, I don't know who that band is that won. Maybe their album really was better than his, but "Recovery," to me, is brilliant.

And ironically, the track with Rihanna is the worst one on the record, at least to me.

I like his serious demeanor. There's no need to smile when you don't want to. shrug

It was at the very end where everyone comes out as the credits role. Chris went to shake the host hand and Russel kinda gave him a weird eye roll and half heartedly shook it. Chris turned to say something to a cast memeber but they had all started hugging each other and had their back to him, so he just kinda stood there with his dancers. Plus he was wearing some stupid teddy bear necklace.

That's a cute video game character named Kirby, LOL. lol

But yeah, you're right about SNL. I noticed all of that too. The only person who warmly acknowledged Chris was one of his own dancers. It was kinda sad. disbelief

Arcade Fire's debut album Funeral is wonderful - a watershed release for indie music. The album that won, though, sucks. lol

I don't know about the video being photoshopped/airbrushed. Obviously she's slim in the picture I posted so it wasn't like the video was far off anyways. In fact I can believe it WASN'T shopped.

See though back then the award actually meant something. Just look at the way Paul grabs and holds the envelope, how he touches and caress the award. Back in the day, getting a grammy actually meant something. Peers awarding their own. Now not so much.

thats why someone had to show up in an egg and thank whitney.
