That link didn't work for me, but here's another.
http://www.whudat.com/new...s/news.php Right click on the "Windows Media" link (helps to have Windows Media) to "Save Target As" in order to download. I've only heard a few seconds of it so far, but the interview seems to have started out on the wrong foot. I'm gonna check the rest of it, though. Check out the comments below the "Windows Media" and "Zipped MP3" links, too.

Pure comedy.
I actually came out of that with more respect for both Wendy Williams and Whitney. All her problems aside, I appreciate Whitney's "realness" in saying, "Don't ask me that shit. What the fuck. etc." It's not professional at all, but it's straight gangsta. "Don't let me catch you outside!" LOL And with all that, Wendy just kept her cool. She didn't let that shit "get in the way of her professionalism." RD you're the shit,,,I was begging folks to make a transcript from that since I missed the damn thang on the 1st place lol
She sounds very baaad however I'm glad she let her have it. If you guyz happen to listen to Wendy on a regular basis you would inderstand why Whitney acted the way she did. Wendy talks shit about her everyday, and you expect Whitney to be nice to her. I mean she was noisy as hell asking about there sex life, and does she get along with Bobby's baby's mommas. Come on now if someone talked shit about you on a regular basis, and constantly in your business, then you would snap to. I know I would have. Whitney may have not been the most eloquent in her interview but atleast she gave Wendy a dose of her own medicine. You Go Nippy [This message was edited Mon Feb 3 9:27:34 PST 2003 by Harlepolis]

I just heard that Whitney's father passed away shortly after she did this interview
Another favorite quote: WENDY: Whitney you're so defensive. WHIT: I have to be, you talk about me every fuckin day! "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

I second on the OH LAWD reaction...those last couple of blurbs were worse than the crack is whack thing from ABC:
"...I'd meet you outside if it was back in the day...but I'M a LADY! I have CLASS!" "...Wendy, don't make me meet you outside...! You a NASTY bitch! You a NASTY bitch!!!" After a while, all her responses just started to sound like: 'Hibbitty Hibbitty Hibbitty...BLEEP...Hibbitty...BLEEP!!!' Just hilarious. But unfortunately tragic at the same time... What I wonder is, where the label people were (or ARE for that matter!) to take care of damage control with this woman? Worse yet, where is her MOMMA while she's digging yet a deeper PR hole for herself? If nothing else, couldn't she just settle down with the behavior a bit out of respect for her momma??? Good grief...

Hell,,,if its Madonna ya'll wouldn't say shit now would ya? Being JUDGMENTAL isn't you fucking jop,,,its GOD's jop. Well, Harleopolis, that would be if one believes in God, but then, that's a diffferent topic for a different forum... I just want to say, that I for one, being involved in an arts-oriented industry (translation: highly emotional, sensitive, and sometimes irrational environment), have seen people (and yes celebrities, too) WZACKED OUT on drugs before my very eyes and it made me realize VERY CLEARLY that drug abuse IS NOT CUTE. It's even less cute when you listen to a person ramble on and on about what they're NOT addicted to, or worse, become defensive, insulting, or downright VULGAR when questioned about said abuse. This is what is commonly known in psychiatric circles as DENIAL, and a behaviors supporting such actions are what is known as E N A B L I N G...Again, Not cute... As for my inquiry about her label reps; my entrepeneurial mind kicked in at that moment, but I see how I was off target! You ARE on the money about negative publicity, but then, what a sadder state of affairs it is (and what does it say about Miss Whit's real power in this situation?) if an Artist of her stature has a label that will settle for negative publicity vs. no publicity in order to sell a record, particularly as her PR blunders don't seem to be INTENTIONAL. While you have a point about the ability of people like Madonna to (intentionally) thrive on negative publicity, one could also easily say the same about the scores of artists who go the OTHER route and don't act up, and curse folks out for thousands of people to hear, let alone threaten to meet 'em outside... I believe that wondering about her parents' influence in her life is not an unfair inquiry, as she tends to go on endlessly about her parents' love for her. Lord knows that, though I will never see in this lifetime the amount of money and celebrity Miss Whit has in the past 18 years... I have done well for myself finacially and am moderately accomplished in the arts/creative world- a world which can be SO NOT IN TOUCH WITH REALITY. Now my Parents, who I live 6,000 miles away from, have accepted me as their gypsy artist daughter who is making HER THING happen, BUT- if they so much as THOUGHT I was acting crazy in the middle of my work environment madness (rather than being chill and just kind of taking it all in) they WOULD CALL ME UP, just like Miss Whit's momma did! But, to take it a step further, even if I WAS at home near my parents (who, occasionally surprise me by being hip and understanding), if they notice that I'm starting to act a little too "outside myself" because I'm caught up in The Game (my job)- they have an incredible ability to reign my 30ish year-old-ass in with a "Young Lady, it's time to settle down now and FOCUS!!" attitude that helps me keep myself in-check. I mean, after all, when I think about everything my parents sacrificed in order for me to have a comfortable home, a decent education, and preparation for life's small obstacles, I feel compelled to to think of their sacrifices before I act irrationally...for me it's almost a matter of principle; you know- not dissing your parents by behaving crazily (in a public forum) after all they've done to support you and uplift your life experience... but then that's just my opinion. At any rate, that's pretty much what I meant by the question about Miss Cissy. We all, in the end, have our own roads to travel and our own experiences... I just know my mama, no matter how many gifts she gets from me... ...Lastly, in, reference to the prayer thing, I will say that my comment wasn't one based on pure criticism as it was one that HAS BEEN accompanied by prayer for one of the great voices in American music, en facti, fini. There have been times when I have seen Whitney Houston and thought, "Oh my Goodness, she looks just like Judy Garland before she DIED," on TV AND in person ( i.e. screaming at her husband outside the Olive Garden near her home in NMB) and I have prayed to keep that beautiful woman with an equally beautiful voice here on the planet, with less burdens to carry than what she presently has on her shoulders. In that regard, I would say that the prayer remark would be lost on me, harleopolis.
