80's groups that never really made it I have a lot of albums in my collection that are very good but done by groups or solo acts that never really made it. A few examples:
Kiddo: Two albums by them and both are great. Had a very Rick James sound. La Connection: Only one album and what and album it was! Produced by Cameo this is an underground classic. Come into my heart my be one of the top 20 songs of the 80's imo. Kwick: An Allen A. Jones (Bar-Kays) produced group. Very funky. Bobby Nunn: One hit (she is just a Groupie) but that's it. He had two very good albums however. Some very "Prince like" jams on the first album. anyone comments on the ones above or additions? Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
