I haven't listened to this in a long time, but I remember liking Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows the best.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

LOVE is excellent. I'm excited to hear these new tracks. Yes, "Within You, Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows" is probably the best track. I also love the demo of "Strawberry Fields Forever."

Abit too slick for my taste, but I like it.

Its a good starting point for those who want to get into the Beatles.

I'm not sure a remix album is a good place to start. lol I'd recommend Past Masters 1 & 2.

I really dig the LOVE album. Especially in 5.1 surround sound. cool

Can you get just the 2 new songs? Or is this a package deal. I generally don't do the itunes thing.

I'm ol' skool. I like product in hand.

Btw, anyway heard the 2 new songs yet? If so, how are they?

Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I agree, it makes sense to start out with a more traditional comp like Past Masters, #1s, or the red & blue collections. Then once you've heard all the songs the way they are supposed to be heard, it's much cooler to dive into the remix.

Yes you can get the 2 songs solo, they're erm, not as dazzling as some of the tracks already on there, but def. worth a listen. what i REALLY wish would get released was this reggae-ish version of Hey Jude that George Martin did, but Paul thought was too crazy... really, i mean, REALLY!?

That would've been cool. Imo.

So how many more tracks were worked on and/or finished but not released?

I'd like to see a LOVE 2. Also it would be cool if it was more "out there". Get a little "crazy" with it. In 5.1 surround sound of course. cool

in all truth, i had no clue there was more than what was already released. the reggae-ish Hey Jude was mentioned by George Martin himself on the 'making of' documentary dvd. i too am all for LOVE 2 biggrin god i was so blown away by LOVE, i couldn't help but smile for days
