The new Prince : Josh London ?

About Josh London: Passion, determination and raw talent are the key elements that make up a superstar. When it comes to Josh London, he possesses all these qualities and more. Raised in a small town in Virginia, Josh is not only physically captivating, but he has an equally intoxicating sound to accompany his look. Described by critics as a cross between a male Lady Gaga and a modern-day Prince, this 21-year-old singer/songwriter was classically trained at Virginia’s prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts. While at Governor’s, Josh’s tremendous talent and potential for growth were recognized by instructors and classmates alike. Now living in the New York City area, Josh is poised for success. He takes different genres of music and effortlessly fuses them. To sum it up, Josh London is more than a pop singer. He’s more than a songwriter. He is the epitome of creativity. Simply put, Josh London is the future of music.

I'll let u know in 30 years........

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

his style is funky... but compared to prince, john legend, george clinton and rick james which I think he recembles. He is a bit anonymous and has a bit too comic persona. He dosent have the sensual, cocky, intimate and vulnurable quality that prince got, does not have the power and theatrical strength, and unreal confidense of a Rick James on crack, don't have the soul and regret of a John Legend, nor does he have the ecclectic weirdness of a spacey George Clinton. But he has a little bit of everything, and does scream like Prince, but without the passion and desperate voice. This mixed with a bit too trendy music makes him sell if he got the right tune and hook. Still it's refreshing to see something new out there. Just hope he'll focus

He seems pretty good, i think i'd like him more if his vocals weren't so over the top though. He seems quite interesting though biggrin

his over the top vocals makes him fit the Rick James category a bit more I think. And the music sounds like Gaga meets "indie pop". But hell, dude is one of the most interresting things happening in popular music these times. Will be interresting to hear more of him

Only one Prince.

I wish people would stop trying to be him and stop looking for the next.

the problem is him rushing and overkill vocals... he is no more prince, than he is rick james, lady gaga, john legend, george clinton and prince combined. His other songs are way diff. Sound more like modern rnb with a bit of the mentioned. His problem is his focus. He is not developed properly yet imo. A wants a bit too much, ending up sound more like Gaga on extra pills. Why is it a problem people being inspired by Prince? Being prince is impossible. But thank Prince for the likes of D'Angelo, Lenny Kravitz and Bilal! And they sound nothing the same.

on this eveidence NOT A CHANCE. Pointless cover The beautiful ones with zero difference added [at least TRY to make a cover your own!]. Early days but the 1st track is just noise. Hope he comes back with stronger material + he needs to get away from the media comparing him to P coz that's just too damn hard to live up to.
