Some interesting choices so far though! I'm looking up Martina Topley-Bird right now!

i only found out about that album about a day after i had posted my list

because i would have included it, had i known about it and heard it.

it's a great little album, spurred on by damon albarn she re-recorded a

collection of songs from her previous 2 albums in a very stripped down

way and included a few new songs.

not as good as her first 2 albums, but very interesting and all of those

songs work very well. it's just that as an album, it starts to drag a bit.

i'm gonna keep returning to this thread for months to pick new music to

listen to and discover.

as you said, the org is still a great source to discover new music

he deleted his account, yeah, ... or the mods did it, I'm not sure (I think Timmy84 knows what happned) the only thing that I know is that there was this Cinnie's thread about Justin's movie and it was FULL of <snip-luv4U> so something nasty happened... then Cinnie's account disappeared...

and yeah it's a grave AND sad loss

Wow nice job Moonbeam, as for the results Im glad : Erykah, Kanye, Flying Lotus, Bilal and Jammie Lidell made it in the 20 ... I haven't heard 20Ten and Im not willing to do so. As for The Archandroid, it was good but uneven, the first part was great and second part was weak for the most part, just like Love Letter : Im surprised Im one of 2 people who voted for that albums : where are those 2 crazy stans ?

I can understand getting frustrated with the org now and then, but to go so far as to delete your account? Maybe it was slowly building up for him and that thread was the last straw.

Thanks to all the participants again! A question: Do you prefer the quick-hit results as I did with this poll, or the updates every day/every other day that I tried to do with previous polls?

The latter method can have results that start being unveiled earlier, but the former finishes unveiling the list more quickly.
