Daniel Merriweather The Classics IV Carole King [Edited 1/20/11 22:51pm] “The only male singer who I’ve seen besides myself and who’s better than me – that is Michael Jackson.” – Frank Sinatra

Aside from my girl Teena, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the late Eva Cassidy. Her version of "Autumn Leaves" is outstanding! And how could I forget Boy George and his backup singer Helen Terry? If U can check out her song "Laughter On My Mind". Her voice is to die for! [Edited 1/21/11 0:04am] If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

Im surprised you forgot Bobby Caldwell or Amy Winehouse but the org is reactive, I don't know if anybody thought about Jammie Lidell ? [Edited 1/21/11 11:00am]

Myself and at least 2 other posters mentioned Bobby Caldwell

Thank You!!! One of my fave recent discoveries! I own everything of his. Too bad he's not making new music. Although I've heard rumblings that he is. I dunno.
I also add: Daniel Merriweather
Strickland Banks aka Plan B....think Motown, Smokey, Rap, and Rock...kinda cool. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

Duffy...love her Rockferry album, but her latest album Endlessly isn't that great. Adele...love her 19 album and can't wait the 21 album to come out next month! And Amy Winehouse whom I used to be a die hard fan of has let me down. I'm over her now...she just can't seem to get herself together. Back 2 Black was her best album and Frank is great also. I don't see a third album coming out from her anytime soon, if ever.
