After almost 20 years Suede still has to use the name The London Suede in the U.S? neutral

She probably will...but she may pull a Sly Stone (love him, still one of my biggest influences,no disrespect) on 'em, talk to the crowd for a few min. & walk the hell off the stage. smile Or she may kill 'em like she has the ability to still do. You just never know with the Queen of The Refugee Camp.

The list looks cool for the most part, but one name sticks out like a hamburger @ Pizza Hut... Lil' B. Wasn't there a thread about him being worse than Soulja Boy? confused It's bad enough the fest looks like it has zero funkiness (besides Cee-Lo, Erykah & possibly Raphael), but damn. disbelief Not trying 2 hate but, that's gonna be a huge crowd, let's see how much they get into it.

I've bean hearing the Sly Stone comparison about her lately, and its scaring me.

I would rather see her walk away from all of this like Bill Withers did instead of doing the Sly Stone stints, at least she will not burn bridges with her audience(after all is said & done, those people will be the ones who will really support her,,,not some label).

I'm just glad Sly's still around, PERIOD, & still makes appearances. But they're both unpredictable, which is GREAT artistically/creatively, but really BAD business...It seems Lauryn is back, a hell of alot more back than D'Angelo, who I see more of a comparison to L-Boogie (except for the drug thang). But both haven't released a studio album in more than a decade.

I believe Lauryn will come through. Erykah & Cee-Lo's sets should be really good. And alot of great rock bands as usual...I would definitely go if I was on the West Coast & had $269 to blow. smile I'll catch some of it on youtube when it pops up...

I still remember watching the Grammys about four or five years ago when he walked off the stage in the middle of the performance.

He's a HOT MESS. Always has been.
