Wow, Sister Sledge does some good impressions! And I can't believe how spot on the Cher impression was. [Edited 1/18/11 23:21pm]

I agree!! Her impression of Cher was better than, Cher's impression of Cher...VERY SCARY!! "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

What's so wrong about it?
Shit, I think they did a great job! I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

This made me think of the Barbara Mandrell & The Mandrell Sisters Show (with the Kroft Puppets). You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'm not saying they didn't do a great job and that it wasn't funny as hell. I just think the venue was highly unusual for a popular musical act to do this kind of over the top impersonating of fellow comtemporary musical artists. This wasn't a nightclub or comedy/variety show. It was a national late-night talk show, 'Tomorrow' hosted by Tom Snyder, and they were the musical guests. Nine minutes of uninterrupted national exposure could have been better used performing a couple more songs from their latest LP or some of their previous hits. Just my opinion.

At the beginning of the video, one of the Sisters says that they heard they were coming back for tomorrow nights show, so they decided to do something special.
My guess would be that they did their stuff the following night. Would love to see it, if it's out there. *hint* *hint* I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Ahhh...no. What Kim said was, "When my sisters and I found out that we were coming here to The Tomorrow Show....". Tomorrow was an American late-night television talk show hosted by Tom Snyder [RIP] (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/w...(TV_series). In addition to the impersonation segment, the Sisters performed 2 songs this same evening from their latest album 'All American Girls':
