Teena Marie's Sexuality I've always loved her ballads..."Stop The World", "Sunny Skies" "Tune In Tomorrow"...but today I went over a friends house, who is a big fan too...We we're listening to her song "Honey Call"...the lyrics are a bit ambiguious...the line where she refers to Concubine...girl on girl perhaps? I've always wondered where she stood with sexuality...there have been rumors for many years...was she Bi? A latent Lesbian? Listen to the track "Ivory (a tone poem)"..."your lips, the kind that were made for kissing..."the kiss that I wanted to try out on myself, to see if it was good enough for U"...I can read Lesbian tendencies...or am I reading too much into her lyrics? I KNOW she has a HUGE Lesbian/Gay following...thoughts? If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in! | |
