Spice Girls Without Posh Spice?

I know a lot of you have heard about the Spice Girls reuniting once again, but withour Victoria "Posh Spice" Addams-Beckham. You think they can do it?

/\ The weird thing is that she actually did, at the beginning. There's some videos of stuff around the time of the first album and she was singing leads on some of it! I was surprised.

I stopped caring about them after all their nude pics had been seen. shrug The Spice Girls Movie is the most entertaining thing they ever did, imo (I love that the bus is impossibly big on the inside and it's never mentioned or explained lol ). Otherwise, I always ignored them as much as possible.

I'm so sick of all these Spice Girl reunions. I used to be a die hard Spice Girl fan when I was 12. I was so upset that I didn't see them live at MSG in 1998, so I got to see them in 2007 when they got back together because I needed closure. They ended up canceling the rest of their "world" tour and lost many fans a result. They should give it a rest now. They are already doing a Viva Forever" musical...that's enough.

Posh is pregnant now anyway, she couldn't get back together w/ the other girls even if she wanted to.

I've read that Mel B, Melanie C and Geri want to do it, Emma said that wasn't too sure (cause of her son and another one on the way), but now she wants to do it. It's just that Beckham absolutely does not want to be a part of it.

These girls (women, hot women actually) are past their prime.

They were very entertaining in the mid to late '90s, their videos were funny/cool, etc. but that's all...

Seriously, their concerts are a JOKE (just awful). I wouldn't go to any of their concerts, even if it was free lol . They should stick to the formula of good singles/cool videos, and that's exactly what they are NOT doing anymore, at least since the reunion... neutral , but their tours are still successful, so there's no chance in hell that they're gonna stop touring the world, even if they clearly suck...

and it's kinda sad that Victoria is not around anymore; she CAN'T sing, but her image/attitude is necessary, even if she's clearly as bitchy/annoying as Paris Hilton; perhaps she is TOO annoying so the other girls can't stand her anymore...

This is how I wish it could of been in 1998, that if someone had to leave it should've been posh. I think they could have still been massive for another few years if it was her instead of Geri that left. Now posh has upgraded her status and it simply cant work without her.

Again? wow! I do hope she comes back too and they do another comeback tour. I want to go for old times sake, they were fun and mindless and I miss times like that. I never got to go to a show and had tickets for their reunion tour but backed out last minute cause I suddenly started a new job and was broke so I felt it wasn't worth it.

Posh was a nobody. She just gets attention now because she married Beckham and her clothes and shit.

She didn't sing anything and she was the least talented.

If Geri (Ginger Spice) AND Mel B (Scary Spice) can keep their leadership-driven egos in check long enough, then The Spice Girls can still work without Victoria (Posh Spice). The group's main concern is making sure the Geri & Mel B are there to maintance the musical balance within the group of the remaining 4 members.

The last time the girls did an album with only 4 members, it failed. Part of that reason was because Geri was THE most popular of all of The Spice Girls in the UK at the time (despite that Mel C [Sporty Spice] was and still is the best vocalist!). And watching the girls without Geri did NOT fit well with some critics OR some die-hard fans, no matter how much of a better leader Mel B was at the time. Also, the girls' 3rd album Forever was a straight up hip-hop/r&b album, which didn't sell well because their audience still see the group as a dance-pop act.

Exactly. nod Victoria was very involved on the Spice album. When I listen to a song like 2 become 1, I still think Victoria's biggest strength are the love songs.

That's not a good excuse. Emma (Baby Spice) was very pregnant when The Spice Girls had their first reunion back in 2007.

Mel C. is the most vocally talented. I saw her live at the Grand Ballroom in NYC in 2008 and was really impressed. Mel B. was always my favorite Spice Girl though, but I can't stand her now. She's done 2 reality shows and both failed. lol She should stick to being a mom and wife. And no more solo albums...people aren't interested in her like she thinks they are.

It's the ugly true. For the album's main producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jenkins, it was one of his first ever career f***-ups.

Had Geri NEVER left the group, THIS^ track would have never existence. You can NOT take a girl band like The Spice Girls that was known as a dance-pop act since day 1, put their vocals on a hip-hop/r&b track and expect it to work because it also works for TLC & Destiny's Child.

The Spice Girls' die-hard fans weren't sold on this at all. There was no musical balance on Fovever like there was on Spice & Spiceworld.

^^I actually liked their Forever album, but they hardly did any promo for it. "I wanna make you holler and hear you scream my name"...Holler was their best track off that album imo.

I watched a special they had on Youtube and they said they haven't truly had no beef between one another.
