Michael Jackson-I cant help it-one of THE finest soul songs EVER I mean DAMN!
This song is just so perfectly delivered
its on constant rotation...
(it is is a tiny bit hard not to smirk at the first line and imagining mike sing that line after all his plastic surgery

You might have to copy the link, sometimes clicking on it doesn't work. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

Stevie's songwriting skills + MJ's soulful vocals=Classic.

yeah it's a masterpiece, though it took a little bit of time to grow on me, now I get stevie more than I did back when I first got it, so the style was unfamiliar to me despite knowing some of stevie's songs

I almost fell outta my seat when first I heard this cut and Stevie was just on a roll at that time. It really showed that MJ could handle jazz modes as well as pop and soul modes. If you really think about it, with the dramatic chord changes and Michael's phrasing of the lyrics, it's probably the closest he ever came to singing jazz. Check me out and add me on:
