R&B diva Toni Braxton is working vigorously to get her career back on track after enduring several bumps within her personal and professional life. The singer, who recently tweeted "New Year, New opportunities," kicks of 2011 with her new reality show "Braxton Family Values."

Outside of fans getting to know more about Braxton and her family happenings on the new gig, they may also get a glimpse at some of her physical features.

"So I have been considering taking up Playboy's offer to feature me on their cover this year,” Braxton tweeted after being approached by Playboy three times to grace the magazine’s cover. “I would love to pose with Hugh Hefner though. He's the sexiest guy I know over 30 .”

But if Braxton confirms the spread, don’t expect her to reveal too much. “Of course it will be tastefully done,” she says.

It’s all about strategy and what time would be better than now for the 43-year-old bombshell.

With a debt upwards of $50 million and a second bankruptcy filed in October (2010), the spread may help Braxton raise her net worth that is estimated to range from $1 million to $10 million, according to court documents.

Entertainment is a strange biz folks ...some stars the public can't let go of even when they should have long ago (Britney/Lauryn Hill/etc) and others keep trying to sell themselves to a public that obviously isn't interested (Toni Braxton/countless others). The people who can't handle fame seem the ones the public are obsessed w/ remaining famous and those who can handle it are often times shoved aside. Crazy world.

I'm really not surprised. We've seen pretty much everything in her videos and in other shoots anyway. But can't help feel something not quite right in her world.

No way Braxton has earned enough loot 2 owe $50m in taxes.

Not just the overdue tax payments to the IRS, GC. She owes a total of $50M to numerous creditors, including the IRS.

and the way to get the help, is for her to admit that she needs it. One of the reasons why she is still in the shyt-hole that she is in is because of bad habits, like not educating herself on the, abc's of handling her finances. I have always say, that when record companies sign people to contracts, their contract should have clauses that state, the artist MUST take mandatory classes on how to handle your money AND they should also have a psychological exam done, every 6 months to a year. To make sure that they are still in their right mind and to help them deal with the shock of fame and fortune. The same goes for athlete s as well. Money changes people, especially those who have come from, "humbled beginings...

Yeah something tells me something mentally is up with her, I don't get how she keeps getting into the mess she gets into.

I know things are pretty F'd up in her world..but no matter the cause(s)...the first words I said when I saw this thread were "Honey....nooooooo".

Poor Toni needs money, bad. She has debts she can never pay and her recording career is in the toilet. She is doing whatever she can to generate some money and have some sort of career.

True but I think these companies won't to keep artist uninformed to rip them off and you are right about the Psych eval-she definitely needs one and so do a bunch of other artists.

I remember after she did that VIBE shoot with the see through shirt that showed her nipples she regetted it. I remember her saying that her religious father was disappointed, and that she would never do nothing of the like again. So, for her to go this route is sad.,,,desparate. Sad what the industry can cause a person to do.

Totally remember this which is why I'm not so much about her posing as her just coming off as confused and as many have stated, desperate. I wonder what she would have to say about those comments now? From day one, she always seemed to try too hard. Gets old quick.
