Please define how When Doves Cry is a weak song......
I think too many people are having a hard time splitting up songs they don't like/care for from weak songs. Sometimes it snows in April hasn't grown on me at all, but I'd never dare say it's "weak." | |

"Baby Be Mine" is not weak!
It's such a catchy song. I love it. I prefer over "Beat It" and "The Girl Is Mine". "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

there is absolutely no filler on Achtung Baby, none at all 
For me any of George's excursions into indian music are forgettable but "Within You Without You" is the worst as it is over five minutes. At least "Love You To" and "The Inner Light" are fairly brief. | |

It's interesting that "Baby Be Mine" is the only Thriller song that never got alot of attention.The other non-single from that album,"The Lady In My Life",still managed to get alot of airplay and became a Quiet Storm staple."Baby Be Mine" seems to be the lonely,neglected song on that album,lol.

I guess it just shows how much people can differ in their opinions. I think that "Take Me With U" is one of, if not the, best pure pop songs that Prince ever recorded. | |

I can sort of see why someone might list that song as one of the weakest on Purple Rain, but if artists like Usher, Justin Timberlake, or Trey Songs released it as a single (assuming Prince never sung it), it would almost instantly become their biggest hit single to date. The fact that someone might look at it as a throwaway song just shows how incredible Purple Rain was.
