Well, it is almost 2011 and my ulitmate fav, Donna Summer, has surprised her fans with the news of two pending releases. One full dance project and one standards project. After all of these years, Donna is still out there releasing singles for her fans and sounding as good as ever. She has always be an inspiration for me to move forward and her singing makes me want to sing as well. Her fans know that despite news of releases, Donna always seems to take a long time to actually release something, but we stick by her side until it all comes to fruition because we want to hear that voice singing something new like only she can do it. And, we wonder how she's going to vocally deliver it. Which character will her voice be in this time? I like this thread--it is so sweet and positive! Quite frankly, I found my way back to Prince music after an awful break up, death in the family, a cancer scare, and MJ's death... I turned around and said Oh s**t! If I want to hear or see artists I loved, whose music did I love back in the day! So, I started listening to Prince again and fell in love with the music all over again. Then, I took my son who just graduated college to two concerts in NJ and we got to experience NYC for the first time--magical! So, I have been blessed so much this year and I wish the same for all of you! (And that is my last sentimental post!)

Prince has always inspired me to believe that your

dream can come true. You have to be willing

Prince found his dreams when he was a teenager.

I use to sing in a band and wanted to be a model

but I gave up on my dreams when i got married

at a young age. In my heart i feel that its never to late.

I turned around and said Oh s**t! If I want to hear or see artists I loved, whose music did I love back in the day! So, I started listening to Prince again and fell in love with the music all over again. Then, I took my son who just graduated college to two concerts in NJ and we got to experience NYC for the first time--magical! So, I have been blessed so much this year and I wish the same for all of you! (And that is my last sentimental post!)
