come to think of it, I haven't *purchased* recorded music in years.

I usually record it off a stream from grooveshark or pandora or youtube, or downloaded from a board somewhere, or somebody burns me a CD. But most often I don't download it and just listen to the stream.

Was that the album that had "Buttercups"? And how's the Sylvia reissued one? I already have the record and if its in better quality I wanna get it, but I'm leery about buying some of these bogus "reissues".

Here're some of what I bought...

Good to see there are still people around here who still buy music smile

Since I'm becoming a vinyl fanatic biggrin , I've bought all of these in the vinyl format recently :

Bob Dylan XTC, "Drums Jamie Lidell Sufjan Stevens, Big Boi, "Sir

"Blood On Tracks" & Wires" "Compass" "The Age Of Adz" Luscious Big L..."

Prince, "Prince" The Cure, Stevie Wonder, Gil Scott Heron, Gil Scott Heron,

"Desintegration" "Songs In The K... "Winter In "I'm New Here"

Key Of Life" America"

That's a lot of $$$$$ spent though... sad

But I don't regret buying any of thses albums cloud9

Yes the album that contains buttercup is "Absence Without Love" the cd I bought is a twofer reissued by expansion records, they always do a good job sound wise on their reissues.

The Sylvia Striplin album has been reissued by soul Jazz records, they did a pretty good job. No complaints soundwise & the artwork is in a limited edition cd case.
