come to think of it, I haven't *purchased* recorded music in years.

I usually record it off a stream from grooveshark or pandora or youtube, or downloaded from a board somewhere, or somebody burns me a CD. But most often I don't download it and just listen to the stream.

Yes the album that contains buttercup is "Absence Without Love" the cd I bought is a twofer reissued by expansion records, they always do a good job sound wise on their reissues.

The Sylvia Striplin album has been reissued by soul Jazz records, they did a pretty good job. No complaints soundwise & the artwork is in a limited edition cd case.

Sorry about that I should've paid more attention. I only discovered them recently, I enjoyed that album so much, I'll be purchasing their "Gang Wars" from '79
