Night Catches Us - the movie and The Roots score

Looks and sounds interesting. nod I looked for a post, apologies if this is a duplicate.

From Pitchfork...

The Roots Score New Film ...Catches Us

God knows where the Roots get the time and energy to do all the stuff they do, but they've cooked up a new film score. As HipHopDX points out, the Roots have scored the new movie Night Catches Us, an indie drama set in their hometown of Philadelphia in 1976.

In the film, The Hurt Locker star Anthony Mackie plays a former Black Panther returning home to Philly and clashing with old friends. The Roots' rapper Tariq Trotter, aka Black Thought, also acts in the movie, which also stars Kerry Washington and the guys who played Bunk and Marlo on "The Wire". Check out a trailer below.
