Out Of All The MJ Wannabes...

Tevin Campbell comes the closest in terms of vocals and Chris Brown as far as dancing. Would you agree with me?

How do you rank the clones?

Vocalist

1. Tevin Campbell (The only one on the list that can be called a true vocalist)

*GAP*

2. Usher (Will never be found in a list of greatest voices but ranks above the rest of the copycats.)

3. Ne-Yo (Extremely overrated. Below average.)

4. Chris Brown (Eh...)

5. Justin Timberlake (Terrible.)

6. Omarion (Horrendous.)

Dancing

1. Chris Brown (The greatest dancer on the list by far. Imitates Michael the best out of all swagga-jackas)

2. Omarion (The surprise runner-up)

3. Usher (Great dancer. Especially pre-Tameka. Recently been slacking.)

4. Justin Timberlake (Eh...)

5. Ne-Yo (Errrr...)

6. Tevin Campbell (HAHAHAAHAHA)

All the "artists" who copy or are influenced by Michael Jackson are pretty dull, flavourless pop singers with close to 0 originality. Not a flattering list of disciples.

Yep I own the album, and yes I like the song (better then the original). Check the 2nd verse and he channels MJ on "Understand" LOL. He doesn't copy him half as bad as the other guys on this thread though LOL, and his vocals are decent enough for the song. Another song off the album not on youtube called "radio ears" is very MJ sounding vocally. Again I like that track as at least its not a carbon copy like those other guys.

Nice key change on the track aswell, particually for an indie bubblggum track like this. No hatin' from me and personally the song and the singer is leagues above the dross posted above, but I thought I would post it as he is pretty obscure. I actually like the track alot LOL.

Iv'e never understood the whole Usher is copying MJ thing. Just because he sports a hat thats copying. African americans have been wearing those style hats for years. Not just MJ.

MJ's style choreography is actually more broadway, classical style. Definitely not Hip Hop

Usher uses Hip Hop choreographers and the moves are more street. Look at Michaels Beat it video. Those broadway style dancing.

For example i remember Usher's caught up video and MJ fans were saying he copied. What move? MJ doesnt even use those style of dance moves. As for the slide. Its been around since Boogaloo Shrimp was at banning high school in the late 1970s. Who said only MJ could use it?

Usher does more tha just a slide through.

Dancing: You forgot acts like Ginuwine & Sisqo. To me Ginuwine surpasses them all.

Ok the first 16secs of "Your Booty Makes Me Moody" had me literally falloff and then when the hook atsrted I IMMEDIATELY remembered hearing that shit on some old 80s B-movie...was it "Penitentiary II" or some shit? I think that's it, because I had the biggest crush on Eugenia Wright. love She looked just like a grown up version of the girl I was love at the time.

If you mean G as in goofy, geek, got damn mess, or GTFOHWTB, then yes. lol He's a "G". But I won't front. If the real MJ had done YBMMM, say 1977-1978, then it would have been a major hit.

Most of his album could have been on Off The Wall. Wuld have been jammin. I wonder if we can do some research and find out all these Alfonzo tunes were MJ rejects.

Name a part in this video that is even similair to MJ. When has MJ rolled out with the fellas heading to a club pimped out? I mean Usher isnt lying. He actually did it. Im sure he has done this in real life.

The only thing similair is the hat but if your familair with brothas who go to clubs thats been going on since the 1940's. My dad, uncle sport these type of hats with suits.

The dancing. MJ doesnt even use this style dancing. The only dance routine where MJ has some hip up to date moves is Remember The Time. Everything else is that Michael Peters style dancing

lol I don't know, maybe You Rock My World or even, Smooth Criminal arguably? It's a similar setting. Guy dressed up in an old style, gangster movie in those two, setting and the hero saves the girl. A theme MJ has had in his videos on numerous occasions. In reality, I shouldn't even have to spell this out for you, it's pretty obvious. While MJ may have not been headed 'to the club' per say, the similarities are so fucking obvious that you would have to have been born, literally, yesterday not to see the similarities that Usher's video shares with MJ's own. This isn't a good or bad thing. It happens, this is the way that art has rolled for CENTURIES. There is nothing new under the sun.

=/ MJ's dance has been recognized in all of incorporating various influences that range from vaudeville to tap dance to hip hop, the latter which, coincidentally, comes from the STREETS and has been influenced by other various dances as well. I do agree about the different choreographies utilized in Remember the Time and some of his earlier videos though.Yet, to deny the street influences in MJ's own dancing is really stupid in itself. True that hip hop dancing has really evolved since then, yet it doesn't mean that it is was completely absent in his own.

I believe it's the other way around. Omarion is a far better dancer than CB. CB's dancing is overrated and I thought his BET imitation proved that.

This is the best MJ wannabe:

The thing is this. Usher actually did this in real life while MJ is just acting. Im willing to bet Usher was in this situation more than MJ in real life.

You honestly think Usher looked at the YRMW video and got his idea from that. Thats not a classic MJ video. So a artist cant head to a club geared out in a video or else its copying MJ.

So MJ copied Bobby Browns Dont Be Cruel video which came out before Way You Make Me feel because he is after the girl...lol

These guys are REALLY after the girl in real life. Not saying MJ wasnt but there are some questions like did he even date in the 2000's

LOL Yes! Usher, really did get out of a car with his buddies and started dancing in the alleryway, where he entered a building passing by a woman who was then attacked by some random gangster dudes and he ran in there and saved her. Yes, you heard it hear FIRST boys and girls. Usher really did do this IN REAL LIFE. Michael was just play acting that shit, but Usher actually did it.

Omg, are you serious?!
