as where the legends of today are concerned, mostly specifically madonna and mj, how will they despite their controversies be remembered here after their time has passed? do releasing greatest hits albums (which both maddy and mj have done in some degree) open up a new market to a newer generation of fans? what can be done to get the best response of an artist and his/hers career?maddy and mj are very successful and very important since they are able to have whole shows dedicated to them only on networks such as vh1. many acts of today exclaim their love to maddy and mj. maddy with the selling of sex, confidence and mj with dance techniques. besides for their infamous rule during the 1980s, much has been changed about them since. ex:praise,personal life, personal apparences,credibility,etc. how will mj and maddy be able to be remembered decades after their time is over? will the same merchandizing appear for them as it does continously for elvis? does maddy have claim to her publishing rights or masters? after thier deaths, how far do u think ppl. will go to remember them?!



now with prince, shygirl stated that she feels prince's popularity will rise. perhaps when the public accepts that his work is the "best" or when prince decides to truly be in the spotlight once again. surely, prince will die. will he have a large following of his death like elvis does? will be honored in any way?(for example: john lennon's artwork and poetry writing contests).since prince will have fans, who will be left in charge of his estate and of his music? will it be distributed like jimi hendrix work is? although a few love prince's musical work, will his albums and will he be talked about years after he retires or dies like the way tupac, kurt cobain and the notorious b.i.g are? will he be casted onto the madamme toussau(sp?) musuem of wax like mj, jimi,elvis,etc.?
will he have a restaurnt of himself?will his fortune go to charity?

I suppose Prince will have a will and his Family will carry out his wishes. Who really wants to think about this? When Prince Dies I'm killing myself cause I'll be 2 distraught over the Loss of such a Great Performer and Talent. And since I'm not into Suicide or Death. I hope he lives 2 a Very Ripe Old Age! He will definitely be Immortalized.

I can't even bear to think about Prince dying. It makes me want to cry. When I lose Prince a big part of me will die with him. I hope I go first so I never have to experience the hell this would put me through.
