Speaking of EC, I really like Blind Faith too.

Someone had already posted Blind Faith, but I may put in some more pics.
Yes BF was probably my fav EC period. It's a real "one that got away" thing. [Edited 11/23/10 11:01am]

Not mentioned yet, but The Jeff Beck Group....active from about 67-69. The core lineup were Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood, and Rod Stewart. They changed drummers often, but this was the core of JBG.
L-R: Rod, Ron, dunno drummer, Jeff
After JBG came another supergroup....The Faces. It was born out of The Small Faces after Steve Mariott left and Ron Wood/Rod Sewart (after JBG) joining forces. This was the Mod gods coming together folks! LOL...They had to drop the "Small" part because Rod and Ron are both tall...or at least over 5'4 tall!
Of course various members of The Faces went on to do great things after, solo and otherwise. Kenney Jones joined The Who, Ronnie Lane did all sorts of cool things, Rod did the solo gig and still is, and Woodie's the last "new" Stone!
There's the original Small Faces, if you were just curious. They were a fantastic band, but kinda remained underground for folks outside of the UK.

This may be the ultimate supergoup of the late 60s-early 70s...The Plastic Ono Band. The talent in this pic is awe inspiring! Billy P, Moonie, D. Allman, Delaney and Bonnie, George Harrison, Klaus Voorman, Marianne Faithfull, etc...this was epic!
EC actually did perform w/ them several times when it was 1st getting off the ground and before Derek and the Dominoes. He's on the 1st album or so and did that infamous live show up in Tornoto.

PBS shows this concert pretty often, especially around pledge week, lol. Check out Roy's backup band. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
