Personally, the debut album is my favorite of all the ones she made. Control would be second, well maybe more the remixes of the singles than the album versions. I've never really listened to the more recent stuff. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
