Reggae music is sexy , period. Besides Soul music, this is the only kinda of music that can turn me on. I love all the old stuff and the new stuff as well. The last CD I bought was beanie man and Sean Paul. I don't know what it is about reggae music, but uhm ... I'm glad that's it's making it way back 2 the air waves.

Reggae is more then sexy. I like reggae because of theyr message and because it is a very spirual-realistic music. Did you know, Moslims likes reggae also.Often I've met ppl from Islam who likes Bob Marley very much and they see you as friend, if you like him too. Music unites. Reggae, the older reggae do know, think it is also gospel. How do you see that?

As for gospel well Jamaica is primarily a Christian country so the artists often grow up singing in church hence the similarity and religious acts such as Toots & The Maytals.

Lady saw has cutting and explicit lyrics, and is big in Jamaica. She's also making herself felt in the airwaves as well...

Also,hip-hop has a lot of its roots embedded in reggae as well...

I agree 100%.
I especially like dub-reggae. Nice slow grooves with echoes and all kind of strange soundeffects. Mad professor with his dub me crazy series is just great. He also made a remake of massive attacks' protection album. Very dark and hypnotising.
And once again i will defend UB40. They are highly appreciated among older reggea artists and fans because they release material which back in the day did not get the recognition it deserved to have ,see the labour of love projects.
