Herbie Hancock ~ Wiggle Waggle

Bruce Springsteen said this is one of his favorite songs.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

From Fat Albert Rotunda.

Did that LP actually ever got used on Bill Cosby's Fat Albert & Cosby Kids? Because it was supposed to be the soundtrack to it.

It sure is funkayh. All the other tracks (like "Fat Mama", "Oh! Oh! Here He Comes!" and the beautiful "Tell Me A Bedtime Story") are great too. Well, I don't really care for "Jessica" or "Lil Brother".

After this, he'd take that brief foray into avant-garde jazz, before returning to funk for the rest of the 70's, starting with, of course, Headhunters.

Don't know. I never knew what the background music was on that show.
