There's a whole bunch, as you can see in the "artists you think are crap" thread.
These artists will NEVER come anywhere NEAR my collection:
The Beatles The Who Pink Floyd AC/DC Bob Marley The Eagles John Lennon Elton John Coldplay John Lennon Paul McCartney Led Zeppelin
I don't have anything by these artists, but I'm no opposed to it happening:
Bob Dylan The Rolling Stones Joni Mitchell Bruce Springsteen Miles Davis Creedence Clearwater Revival Sonic Youth John Coltrane Massive Attack Brian Eno Black Sabbath Frank Zappa Pavement Pulp Run-D.M.C. Little Richard Sam Cooke

If y'all don't mind, I'd like to flip the thread for a second...
Does anyone actually HAVE anything by "Herman's Hermits"?
I understand that back in '66 they were the second biggest thing to the Beatles.

You hate John Lennon so much, you listed him twice.
I'm surprised to see some of the others you don't have, but wouldn't mind hearing. No Massive Attack? And Brian Eno? I thought you were a big Roxy Music fan.

I watched it and it was a really good documentary BUT
-I concluded they were racists save for Joey, who was a really good guy (Dee Dee said he wanted to be a rapper but said he realized "I'm not negro, I can't speak negro" and I've read things about Johnny
-Their music was onw dimensional
-Their songs sounded the same (that's the same as the second point, huh? ) "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

When I signd up I thought the questionaire was speaking of music in general. But whatever . . If you wish to keep scratching your head and digging in yo' ass because you can't believe someone doesn't care for Prince's music and dares to participate in this forum, that's your problem.

So much so I don't visit the other music sites I belong to as much. The diversity is amazing, I think the only genre that hasn't been covered here is Bluegrass. Maybe....

I know right? I think that's why I havent gotten any of his music yet. I had been getting a lot of music from artists (old and new) over the past 7 years or so that has really lasted me for a bit. I graduated bitches!!! 12-19-09

That's all you had to say. I don't care whether or not you like Prince. I just wanted to know why you were being deceitful in your profile.

I got into The Style Council this year, so I've been busy discovering Paul Weller's body of work. I'm always exploring!

I do love Roxy Music! For some reason, I've never explored Eno's solo stuff, though. I fear it will venture too far into ambient new age stuff that I don't like. Don't be mad cuz we think you're a freak.
The truth is that this site is more than just a fansite. I go for months never once discussing Prince or his music on here. The P&R and General Discussion forums are better than just about anything else out there.
But yeah, you're still a freak for not having any Prince music in your collection. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

You're missing out big time if you haven't explored, pretty much something for everyone amongst them.

Good example of an artist who was previously absent in my collection.
I went and got Showbiz on VHS this autumn. Ever watched that, Jay?
