Very interesting. Unsung is very unbalanced in some ways so I'm not surprised in the least bit. "For those who know the number and don't call...Fuck all y'all"

didn't see it, so what did they say about his life today? that he blew his brains out on drugs and has absolutely nothing going on creatively, commercially, or financially? because that sounds pretty spot-on.

That awesome and inspiring Cathy Hughes, at it again. You all should seriously stop watching her channel and stop feeding into her coffers. Space for sale...

Wow maybe you need to do a little research into George's problems before you slam the guy. He was a victim of fraud and I doubt George used anymore dope than other performers from the 60s.

Exactly & the fraud was to the tune of 150 million & like George said he did drugs but he couldn't do 150 million worth.

who's talking about the 60's?

I am talking about the 60s and on and I think you are smart enough to figure that out.

the 60's, fine, whatever. what about the 4 decades since?

"Unsung" started production in 2008, George was interviewed earlier this year. I'm thinking maybe they DIDN'T add that part that George DOES get money from some of his recordings.

I thought it was interesting and undoubtedly George was high as hell when he kept signing over the rights to his stuff, but I also think there was some trickery as the old folks say to that mess also I am glad he won some of the cases though "Flashlight" was my brothers fav song-may he R.I.P and I'm glad PFunk brought some happiness to his short life. BTW, George is still doing his thing at 70 and that is great! [Edited 10/26/10 13:13pm]

George is long overdue an authorized bio.

Dude you have a serious reading problem that you need to get help with. Drugs are not the reason George is having problems with his royalties. Most of his money over the last ten years has gone to legal fees and he has won some of the cases which means his issues are valid legal issues.
I am tired of people dumping on George for using drugs back in the day and in the present. He is not the only person in the music industry to use drugs and his drug use has nothing to do with some ass old record industry person forging George's name on checks and cashing them.

I agree with Laura, but errant, your edit was juvenile, but hilarious. Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh at that one. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

He should have done a "Life After" episode; then he could have told his side of the story rather than it being told for him with lot's of misinformation.

Never heard of "Life After" when does it come on and channel? "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

It's on TVONE and I think....think...it airs on Tuesdays. The last two I saw were on Superhead and commedian Mark Curry. They were pretty decent especially Superhead's episode. I no longer view her as a low down dirty trollop now that I know fully what she's been through with her mom and all. They have all these dudes calling her crazy. they were more crazy for shaggin' her.
Life After is decent because you have the actual person's POV via interview...it's not all third party perspective. [Edited 10/27/10 15:56pm]

You are weak and you have added nothing that makes one bit of sense to this post. Your wrong on this topic and you are to weak to admit it.

sorry that i'm unable to work up the level of righteous fury that you usually illicit from people. i just don't find you that entertaining any more.
