Michael Jackson would roll over in his grave if he heard this garbage Shame on Quincy for destroying a classic MJ song.
It's time for Quincy to call it a day and retire.

Seriously. Why does he feel the need to keep remaking classic songs anyway? His this all he can contribute these days? Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

It's sad, isn't it? I like Robin Thicke, but he should have declined the offer to do this.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the younger/newer artists just want a chance to work with Q but he's only a shadow of himself it seems like. It's not really the same thing at this point especially when you're just doing a cover of an already great song. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Quincy is a joke these days.I mean,really......T-Pain?? And why does he have an obsession with remakes, anyway?! Why couldn't he bring in some real musicians and make a jazz album containing ORIGINAL songs? You know, like he used to do a long time ago.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Hello? He probably doesn't have it to do original material anymore but I could appreciate covers along the lines of what Herbie Hancock has been doing and he's up there as well. Looks like we don't have to worry about anyone screwing up Q's songs because he's doing it by himself. What next? Razzamatazz with Ciara and Lil Wayne? Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Let's not give him any ideas

Doesn't this man have enough money as it is? Why in the hell is he remaking classic songs with these bullshit artists? (And yes Robin Thicke, if you agreed to this farce, then yes you are a BULL.SHIT ARTIST!!!!) [Edited 11/2/10 8:22am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEe these computerized voices. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

The musical community organizer strikes again.
Why doesn't Mr. Jones write a great book on his approach to Arranging and Composing; putting together the disparate elements of what Ray Cnarles and Nadia Boulanger taught him? And how he came up with the great arrangements on Sinatra At The Sands with Count Basie? A book like that would be worth it's weight in gold.
This just looks like he is trying to reclaim his glory since MJ is gone. Between him and Oprah...........jeez. [Edited 11/2/10 11:56am] "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page

Yeah it's sad ain't it? All that knowledge he has and he's wasting it on trying to get back his old glory, which thanks to the way people now view R&B, he won't ever get again. In a way I'll be happy when the album tanks.
