His problem to me is he is self obsessed. All he seems to be able to say is "I'm crazy" "I'm persecuted" "I'm just trying to raise my daughter" "people are obsessed with me" and, back then "kim is a bitch"

That's why he seems to gravitate toward stupid shit, because he doesn't have any other subject matter.

So you've heard about 3 songs from him? He raps in depth about , Thats just on his latest CD. Which deserves every award it is nominated for by the way. To say he has no subject matter is a little silly. I personally hope he retires after 'Recovery'. It would be a great way to end an excellent Hip Hop career.

so why would you want him to retire?

I like eminem, I have his first 3 albums, I just started to get bored with The Eminem Show because it seemed to me like he'd run out of things to say--not literally, of course, there are lots of words, but he seemed to be repeating himself and unable to break out of self-obsessive mode of thinking

It seems like he has come back successfully, but my impression was based on The Eminem Show seeming to be a step back from the MM LP. So maybe he's moving forward again I guess I had already kinda lost interest shrug

Just because he's white doenst make him the greatest.

Oh I see where this is going. Since Souljah boy is you I assumed that you all think he's the greatest because of his youth.

I do wish he would school his white fans more. Remind them who created the original music.

What the fuck he means if he were black he would get away with homophobic

comments? That's about the stupidest damn thing i heard come out of his mouth

besides the other nonsense he goes on about. He should try telling that shit to Isaiah

Washington who hasn't been able to find work since Grey's Anatomy. He's been blackballed.

Last time i checked Em's record sales have not been affected by his often stupid comments.

He has since been on the very short lived remake of the "Bionic Woman" series on NBC a few years ago. It pissed me off to see him working again...evillol....but other than that little short lived series, yeah, he's pretty much been blackballed.

If we could just get so lucky and have the same thing happen to M&M (I spelled it that way because his dick is as miniature as the candy), then we'd be making some real progress.

Glad i missed the bionic woman remake. Isaiah may have gotten a little full of himself

and thought he would have gotten away with those comments. As for Eminem he's

so 1999 and bores the hell out of me. More power to his fans that dig him and if i hear one

more mofo talk about he's hated because he's a white rapper. punch Trust me a lot of us

have the same disdain for 50 cent so i'm calling bullshit on it. lol

right!

Actors and actresses seem more likely to get blackballed in the industry than those in the music business...especially when it comes to rap music..as this genere is more personal than let's say an actor who is basically acting out a role whom he not really is personally or written by said actor. Rappers more so talk from their experiences.

Well Floyd's got bigger fish to fry as far as trouble goes concerning he's being charged with assault, robbery and some shit (30 years in prison is what he's facing right now). Floyd did get called out for his statements both the "f" word and the fact that he used ethnic slurs at Manny Pacquaio (he apologized for the latter offense in a later video).

And speaking of athletes who said the 'f' word... remember our beloved Mike Tyson, right? lol

Gay communities got on his ASS when he went on that rant at the Lennox Lewis press conference in New York after brawling with him. Mike immediately apologized for his words.

So no, you can't escape being called out. Shabba Ranks' career hasn't been the same since he called for gays to "be crucified". Mark Wahlberg, (then Marky Mark), who was there when Shabba said this (the two did a collaboration), spent a couple years trying to prove that he didn't agree with Shabba for what he said just because he remained silent while Shabba was talking about that stupid, ignorant shit.

Musicians don't get blackballed, no, but they do get talked about if they say something or do something that affects their careers.

Eminem's continued success is due to the fact that he knows how to use controversy as a means to get publicity and fame. Plus the man came at what we said "the right time" so he was able to ride off of that, no matter who he offended.
