I was in Macy's Herald Square back in 1997, and this dude walked up to me and handed me a demo CD. I said "Hey, thanks man..." then looked at the CD and asked him "Who is this?". The CD said Horace Brown, and dude looked at me and said... "That's ME!". Then I looked at the picture on the CD then looked at him, and sure enough... it was, lol.

The problem for me was that I had never heard of Horace Brown, lol. And dude looked at me with the most disappointed face. But I thanked him again for the CD, but I don't believe I ever even listened to it, lol. I'm sure I have it on a shelf here somewhere, I should probably dig it out and listen to it. It's probably the least I could do since Horace Brown gave it to me himself.

But still, if I heard him on the radio today, I wouldn't know who it was singing.

This guy couldn't sing to save his life. I never liked him.
