Yeah that is true..in 1984 after Streetwise fell through.

I believe after Michael Jackson opened the door on MTV Donna Summer was the first or second Black female on MTV. I think I remember seeing that British singer Joan Armatrading before Donna though, but I could be wrong.

Tina was on MTV prior to Donna so she was like the third.

Is this really worth watching I don't know anything about them just that one song. I'm a little surprise they have a unsung.

Another child group to rip off.

The unsung was interesting but I thought it was too long. After awhile it became redundant.

i didn't know anything about them before watching the show, i barely knew of that song. and it was throughly entertaining.
