Eric Benet will release his fifth studio album Lost in Time on November 23rd.

The set is the follow-up to Benét’s ultra-romantic 2008 album Love & Life, which was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album. Led by the first single “Sometimes I Cry,” the disc also features duets with Faith Evans, Chrisette Michele, Ledisi and Eddie Levert.

Lost In Time is an homage to the sweet soul of the 1970’s.

“I want people to remember what music is and what it can feel like; and to do that, I knew the record had to be all about the musician and the actual song," says Benét. “The desire to do that took me all the way back to that time—around 1972 through 1976—and like a lot of others, my development as an artist is a direct result of being immersed in that era.”

In support of Lost in Time, Benet will also hit the road With Fantasia and Kandi for the “Back to Me” tour.

“There’s so much to be depressed about right now and I think this more so than ever that you need to remember how good it feels to get back to the real. People just need to have some feel good R&B in their lives,” Benet added.
